Stephanie’s Story

I loved this program Subscribed. It really illuminated the fact that although I am all in in my personal development, I am not all in my capabilities as a coach. It really opened up myself to seeing the big weaknesses I still have. I felt my shadows lurking, confusing me and doubting myself. Although I have moments of complete clarity for what I stand for and where I’m going, I also shrink back to “you don’t know anything, who my clients are and what I have to sell.” As I went through the homework I felt like I completely got it and could hone in on my expertise. Then I saw myself go completely down the rabbit hole. I am still going to go through it all again as I had such shifts in my energy.. Got it completely… then … don’t have a fucking clue.. I didn’t finish the complete assignment so going back without the time crunch will help me immensely. The clarity and realization that I am not subscribed in myself fully and I tend to procrastinate let’s me see the huge gap in why I’m not getting clients!! (Epiphany) I am excited to go back and redo all of the work again with this new insight. Working with Susanne has been a wonderful fit for me. Her no nonsense style of teaching pushes me to keep coming back. Her suggestions for me have been spot on and have been valuable in both my businesses. Her advice about adding Coaching on my restaurant menu was brilliant! I had my first male client show up the next day after I implemented that!!! Vivian’s Story

When I started the Lead Like a Woman program, aware of the commitment involved, I was hesitant in my approach given elements of ambiguity. Certainty, order and control gave me comfort. Trusting the time and effort would be worthwhile, was an additional a reservation.

Personal growth, particularly confronting aspects of oneself is uncomfortable. Choosing the right person or support system to help you with this is crucial. Susanne leads with authenticity, shares from lived experience, and fosters a space of trust and understanding. The work in the program requires honesty, vulnerability and consistency. What initially seemed significant no longer mattered as much. As assignments progressed, I began to change. Susanne provided the guidance and support I needed, to help me navigate this unfamiliar space.

I underestimated the negative ways hustle culture showed up in my life, learned what the need to be right actually cost me and how leaning back in various situations, does not change my construct. You are challenged to ask yourself what is more important, being or doing? This is a key aspect of fulfillment and how you choose to live your life moving forward.

I have learned I’m a lot more resilient than I thought, how to quiet my inner critic, and how to be more forgiving to myself. Moreover, delving into the "why" behind my choices can lead to more informed decision-making.

Rebecca’s Story

I believe that people come into your life when they’re supposed to, and everything happens for a reason. I am a firm believer in trust of this process called “life,” and I allow for  intuitive guidance. I signed up for Lead Like a Woman, and days later, my father died suddenly. 

I was hesitant that I could focus on personal growth during personal tragedy and with Susanne’s encouragement I leaned in and started the work. Lead Like a Woman is not a therapeutic group by any means, however, having a container was therapeutic for me. 

So much of my personal and professional world was reflected back to me throughout the weeks of this program as the light continue to shine, and I continue to dive deeper. I felt supported by Susanne and the ladies in our group in my ability to process what I was experiencing in our sessions.  It was extremely impactful and productive to have dedicated homework and focus time weekly on the material. Susanne’s leadership and guidance method is engaging and relevant. Her wisdom is vast, her support nurturing, and the tools I have taken away only continue to expand and flourish.

Throughout the many weeks I shared with my personal community as much as I could about my experience, as I felt like my growth was visible to them as it was to me. Newsflash, they agreed! One of the last sessions of Lead Like a Woman was days after my son‘s bar mitzvah. I joined the group from the beach with my earbuds in sitting next to my mother, with my  sister, and sister-in-law, watching all of our children playing in the ocean.  The preciousness of life was palpable in that moment. 

One of the many gifts that Lead Like a Woman gleamed, is this awareness: By remaining open to change and growth, I have insurmountable power and the stillness that comes with being completely in the moment. I am in charge of my destiny, and can rise above life circumstances, and how to achieve any and everything that I desire. I believe everything happens for a reason, and I very much trust my intuition I feel as if I am in the driver seat now.

Before Susanne's coaching and the Lead Like a Woman program, I was focused on my own needs, goals and was quite self-centered.

I had a strong habit of judging those around me, which prevented me from working collaboratively in my professional environment, gaining the trust of my colleagues, and on the personal side, being open to meeting different kinds of people in my life.
